Sky has confirmed that Nick Cave & Warren Ellis (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, The Road, Hell or High Water, Blonde, Dahmer: Monster – The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, The Proposition) have written the original music for the upcoming Sky original drama The Death of Bunny Munro. The show is written by Pete Jackson (Somewhere Boy) based Cave’s second novel and stars Matt Smith, Rafael Mathé, Sarah Greene, Johann Myers, Robert Glenister, Lindsay Duncan, Alice Feetham, David Threlfal and Elizabeth Berrington. The 6-part drama follows a sex-addicted door-to-door salesman and self-professed lothario who – after his wife’s death – takes his young son on a sales tour around Brighton and beyond, where he is forced to confront what kind of man he really is. Cave, Smith & Jackson are also executive producing the Clerkenwell Films & Sky Studios production with Manpreet Dosanjh (The Midwich Cuckoos, he Lovers), Petra Fried (Baby Reindeer, The End of the F***ing World), Ed Macdonald & Emily Harrison (Truelove, Cheaters), as well Isabella Eklöf (Holiday) who is also directing. The Death of Bunny Munro will premiere in the UK later this year on Sky and the streaming service NOW.
