Geffen Records has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 1980 drama The Competition written and directed by Joel Oliansky and starring Richard Dreyfuss, Amy Irving, Lee Remick and Sam Wanamaker. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Honorary Academy Award winner Lalo Schifrin (Mission: Impossible, BullitEnter the Dragon, Dirty Harry, Rush Hour, Cool Hand LukeThe Amityville Horror), as well as the Academy Award-nominated original song People Alone written by Schifrin and featuring lyrics by Will Jennings. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon, where you can also check out the track list.
