‘Bookish’ Soundtrack Album Details

Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the U&alibi original series Bookish. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Sarah Warne (DesTimeHumans, The Long ShadowDark Money, Steeltown Murders, Hollington DriveThe Drowning). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s main theme below. Bookish is created by Mark Gatiss and stars Gatiss himself, Polly Walker, Connor Finch, Elliot Levey, Blake Harrison and Buket Kömür. The crime drama is set in 1946 London and follows an unconventional antiquarian bookshop owner who helps the police to solve a variety of mysterious crimes. The series is premiering in the UK today on UKTV’s U&alibi and will make its U.S. debut in the coming months on PBS. A second season has already been ordered.
