Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Prime Video original series We Were Liars. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Michael Suby (The Butterfly Effect, The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, The Originals, Legacies, God Friended Me, Roswell, New Mexico, Ghosts of War). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 11 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s main theme below. We Were Liars is developed by Julie Plec & Carina Adly MacKenzie based on E. Lockhart’s bestselling novel of the same name and stars Emily Alyn Lind, Shubham Maheshwari, Esther McGregor, Caitlin FitzGerald, Mamie Gummer, Joseph Zada, Candice King, Rahul Kohli and David Morse. The mystery thriller revolves around a teenage girl suffering from amnesia after a mysterious accident as she returns to Beechwood, an island off Martha’s Vineyard, seeking answers. The series premiered last month and is now available to stream on Prime Video.
