Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music will release the official soundtrack album for the British drama The Salt Path. The album features the film’s original music composed by Chris Roe (Blue Jean, After Love, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, Payback, Trigger Point, Wolf, Mission Control: The Unsung Heroes of Apollo, Lancaster). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 30 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s end credits track below. The Salt Path is directed by Marianne Elliott and stars Gillian Anderson, Jason Isaacs, James Lance and Hermione Norris. The movie based on the 2018 memoir of the same name by Raynor Winn follows a middle-aged couple who – after losing their home and livelihood – impulsively set out on a 630-mile walk along the southwest English coast, a walk complicated by the recent diagnosis of a terminal neurodegenerative disease. The drama premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is being released in UK theaters this weekend.
