Poesy has released an EP featuring the themes from the Norwegian horror comedy The Ugly Stepsister. The 3-track EP featuring music coposed by Norwegian songwriter Vilde Tuv is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The Ugly Stepsister is written and directed by Emilie Blichfeldt and stars Lea Myren, Thea Sofie Loch Næss, Ane Dahl Torp, Isac Calmroth, Flo Fagerli and Malte Gårdinger. The movie is set in a fairy-tale kingdom, where beauty is a brutal business, and follows a woman as she battles to compete with her incredibly beautiful stepsister. The comedy premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in select U.S. theaters on April 18 by IFC Films before making its streaming debut on Shudder later this year.
