Momo Film Co. has released a soundtrack album for the Vietnamese fantasy comedy Don’t Cry, Butterfly. The album features the film’s original music composed by Diego Ayala Raffalli. Don’t Cry, Butterfly is written and directed by Dương Diệu Linh and stars Lê Tú Oanh, Nguyễn Nam Linh, Lê Vũ Long and Bùi Thạc Phong. The movie tells the story of a homemaker and breadwinner who learns through live TV that her husband is having an affair and tries to turn her situation around by inviting a mysterious presence into her home. The comedy premiered at last year’s Venice Critics’ Week, where it received the grand prize and award for most innovative film and just opened in Vietnamese theaters earlier this month.
