Record producer, DJ and songwriter Kenny Beats (aka Kenneth Blume) has made his feature scoring debut on the upcoming thriller Lurker. The film is written and directed by Alex Russell and stars Théodore Pellerin, Archie Madekwe, Havana Rose Liu, Zach Fox, Sunny Suljic and Daniel Zolghadri. The movie revolves around a retail employee who infiltrates the inner circle of an artist on the verge of stardom and – as he gets closer to the budding music star – access and proximity become a matter of life and death. Madekwe is also producing the project with Alex Orlovsky (Never Rarely Sometimes Always, His Three Daughters), Duncan Montgomery (Silk Road, Memory), Galen Core (Pet Shop Days) and Charlie McDowell (The One I Love, The Discovery). Lurker will premiere this month at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.
