Mandarin Motion Pictures Production has released a soundtrack album for the Hong Kong action drama The Prosecutor. The album features the film’s original music written by Choi Chul-ho and other composers. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Apple Music/iTunes, where you can also check audio samples. Also listen to the first track below. The Prosecutor is directed by Donnie Yen and stars Yen himself, Julian Cheung, Francis Ng, Kent Cheng, Adam Pak, Kang Yu and Locker Lam. The movie is inspired by an actual legal case in Hong Kong involving a man who falsely pleads guilty to drug trafficking after being framed and follows a veteran policeman-turned-prosecutor handling the case who is convinced of the man’s innocence and pursues his own investigation. The dramatic legal thriller opened in Chinese and Hong Kong theaters last month and has just been released in select U.S. theaters this weekend by Well Go USA Entertainment.
