Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original limited American Primeval. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by the post-rock band Explosions in the Sky (Friday Night Lights, Prince Avalanche, Lone Survivor, Manglehorn). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 9. The streaming/download link will be added to this page within the next day. American Primeval is created by Mark L. Smith and stars Taylor Kitsch, Betty Gilpin, Dane DeHaan, Jai Courtney, Shea Whigham, Joe Tippett, Saura Lightfoot Leon and Preston Mota. The 6-part western directed by Peter Berg follows a mother and son fleeing from their past to form a family while confronting a harsh landscape of freedom and cruelty in the American West. The series will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Netflix.
