Looks Filmproduktion GmbH has released a soundtrack album for the historical limited series A World Divided (Die Spaltung der Welt). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Stan Koch & Maarten Buning. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ title track after the jump. A World Divided is created by Jan Peter & Gunnar Dedio and stars Max Wagner, Lara Mandoki, Denis Rodnyansky, Delia Mayer, Meriel Hinsching and Moussa Sylla. The 6-part docu-drama directed by Olga Chajdas & Frank Devos tells the stories of six historical figures from Germany, Israel, France, the Soviet Union and the U.S. and follows their lives, longings, dreams and fears, beginning with the Second World War in the late 1930s and ending in the 1950s. The series premiered in Germany last month and will debut in several other international markets in the coming months.
