Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish thriller Escape. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Awrdwinner Victor Reyes (The Night Manager, Buried, Grand Piano, Red Lights, Perfect Strangers, Down a Dark Hall, Red Queen). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. A CD version will be available to order on the label’s official website. Escape is directed by Rodrigo Cortés and stars Mario Casas, Anna Castillo, José Sacristán, Josep María Pou, Guillermo Toledo, Blanca Portillo, Juanjo Puigcorbé, José García, David Lorente and Albert Pla. The movie, which is executive produced by Martin Scorsese, is based on the novel of the same name by Enrique Rubio and follows a young man who wants to live in prison and will do whatever it takes to get there. The thriller is being released in Spanish theaters today. No word yet on a domestic release.
