Carly Paradis (The Innocents, Line of Duty, The RisingTypist Artist Pirate King,Sick Note, Prime Suspect 1973) is scoring the upcoming HBO/Channel 4 limited series Get Millie Black. The show is created by Marlon James and stars Tamara Lawrance, Joe Dempsie, Chyna McQueen and Gershwyn Eustache Jnr. The 5-parter revolves around an ex-Scotland Yard detective who returns to Jamaica to work missing persons cases and finds herself on a quest to save a sibling who won’t be saved, to find a child who can’t be found, and to solve a case that will blow her world apart. James is also executive producing the Motive Pictures production with Jami O’Brien, Simon Maxwell (The Woman in the Wall, Deep State) and Leopoldo Gout (Alex Cross, Instinct). Tanya Hamilton (Night Catches Us) is the project’s lead director.. Get Millie Black will premiere in the U.S. on November 25 on HBO and in the UK in 2025 on Channel 4.

Paradis’ other recent projects include the second season of BBC’s Showtrial, which currently airs every Sunday in the UK on BBC One and World Productions’ Until I Kill You, which will make its U.S. debut on November 7 on BritBox.
