Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere release of two television movie scores composed by Gil Mellé (The Andromeda Strain, The Sentinel, Borderline, Night Gallery, The Organization): the 1981 sci-fi/horror film The Intruder Within directed by Peter Carter and starring Chad Everett, Joseph Bottoms, Jennifer Warren, Lynda Mason Green, Rockne Tarkington, Paul Larsson & James Hayden and the 1985 sci-fi romance Starcrossed written and directed by Jeffrey Bloom and starring Belinda Bauer, James Spader, Clark Johnson, Peter Kowanko, Jacqueline Brooks & Chuck Shamata. The soundtrack is now available to order as a limited edition CD on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. A digital version is expected to be coming out in a couple of weeks.
