The track list of the soundtrack album for the animated documentary Piece by Piece has been revealed. The album features the original songs from the film written and performed by the project’s subject Pharrelll Williams, including the original title track (feat. Princess Anne High School Fabulous Marching Cavaliers), which is already available now as a digital single, It’s Happening & L’EGO Odyssey (both co-written with Shelly Berg), Virginia Boy and the closing credit song For Real. Also included are some of the artist’s greatest hits such as Happy from Despicable Me 2, Daft Punk’s Get Lucky, Justin Timberlake’s Señorita, No Doubt’s Hella Good, Jay-Z’s I Just Wanna Love U & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, October 11 by Columbia Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Also click here to check out the project’s music team credits. Piece by Piece is directed by Morgan Neville and tells the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter’s life story through LEGO pieces. The documentary (scored by Michael Andrews) premiered at this year’s Telluride Film Festival and will be released in theaters nationwide on October 11 by Focus Features.
