CJ Mirra (A Banquet, Make or Break, Nascondino, Kidnapped) has been hired to score the new FOX drama Rescue: HI-Surf. The show is created by Matt Kester and stars Robbie Magasiva, Arielle Kebbel, Adam Demos, Alex Aiono, Kekoa Kekumano and Zoe Cipres. The series follows the personal and professional lives of the heavy-water lifeguards who patrol and protect the North Shore of O’ahu, Hawaii, the most famous and dangerous stretch of coastline in the world. Kester is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment Studios production with co-showrunners John Wells (ER, The West Wing, August: Osage County) and Daniele Nathanson (Animal Kingdom), as well as Erin Jontow (Maid, Shameless). Rescue: HI-Surf will premiere this Sunday, September 22 on FOX.
