Epic Records has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 1974 family adventure Benji written and directed by Joe Camp and starring Peter Breck, Christopher Connelly, Patsy Garrett, Tom Lester, Mark Slade, Herb Vigran, Deborah Walley, Frances Bavier, Edgar Buchanan and Terry Carter. The album features the film’s original music composed, arranged and conducted by Euel Box (For the Love of Benji, Hawmps!, The Double McGuffin, Oh Heavenly Dog), including his original score, as well as the “theme” song I Feel Love (performed by Charlie Rich), for which the composer received an Academy Award nomination. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack, which has previously been released as a vinyl edition when the movie opened in theaters in 1974. Listen to the song and first score track after the jump. Benji is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
