The full details of the soundtrack album for the Hulu limited series We Were the Lucky Ones have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Rachel Portman (Emma, The Cider House Rules, Chocolat, The Manchurian Candidate, Never Let Me Go) and Jon Ehrlich (House, The Resident, Parenthood, Life, About a Boy, Invasion). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 3 by Hollywood Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released Portman’s main theme in March. We Were the Lucky Ones is developed by Erica Lipez based on Georgia Hunter’s bestselling novel of the same name and stars Joey King, Logan Lerman, Henry-Lloyd Hughes, Hadas Yaron, Amit Rahav, Michael Aloni, Sam Woolf, Moran Rosenblatt, Lior Ashkenazi, Eva Feiler and Robin Weigert. The 8-part drama tells the story of a Jewish family who is determined to reunite after being separated in World War II. The final episode just premiered today and the full series is now available to stream on Hulu.
