Leo Birenberg (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Bottoms, Florida Man, Son of Zorn, Tigtone, Butcher’s Crossing) is returning to score the upcoming Netflix animated series Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. The sequel to the Birenberg-scored Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous features the voices of Paul-Mikél Williams, Sean Giambrone, Darren Barnet, Raini Rodriguez and Kausar Mohammed. The show follows the Camp Cretaceous gang as they come together to unravel a mystery when they discover a global conspiracy that brings danger to dinosaurs – and to themselves. Scott Kreamer (Pinky Malinky) and Aaron Hammersley are the project’s showrunners and are also executive producing the DreamWorks Animation, Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures production with Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World, Safety Not Guaranteed) and Frank Marshall (Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Sixth Sense). Jurassic World: Chaos Theory will premiere on May 24, 2024 exclusively on Netflix.
Birenberg also continues to co-score Netflix’s Cobra Kai, which will return for its sixth and final season later this year, and is also expected to co-score Season 2 of Peacock’s Twisted Metal.
