Ben Salisbury (Ex Machina, Annihilation, Devs, Luce, Archive 81) and Suvi-Eeva Äikäs (Matriarch, Hanna, Baghead) have teamed up to score the upcoming Apple TV+ original series Constellation. The show is created by Peter Harness (The War of the Worlds, Wallander) and stars Noomi Rapace, Jonathan Banks, James D’Arcy, William Catlett, Julian Looman, Barbara Sukowa, as well as Rosie and Davina Coleman. The 8-part psychological thriller directed by Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad, Shining Girls), (Downfall, The Experiment) & Joseph Cedar (Norman, Footnote) and revolves around an astronaut who returns to Earth after a disaster in space, only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be missing. Harness is also executive producing the Turbine Studios and Haut et Court TV production with David Tanner (Small Axe, The Frankenstein Chronicles), Tracey Scoffield (The Same Sky, The Other Man), Caroline Benjo, Simon Arnal & Carole Scotta (The Young Pope, Monsieur Spade) and Justin Thomson (The Fall, Liaison). Constellation will premiere on February 21, 2024 on Apple TV+.
As previously reported, Salisbury also has Alex Garland’s Civil War (co-scored with Geoff Barrow and to be released in theaters on April 12) coming up.
