Lakeshore Records has released the cover version of the Mortal Kombat “theme song” Techno Syndrome from the Netflix original animated series Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. The track (originally written by Oliver Adams and performed by The Immortals) is produced by the rock band Anamanaguchi and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Also listen to the track below. The label has previously released a full soundtrack album featuring the songs from the show, as well as the score composed by Anamanaguchi & Joseph Trapanese last November. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is developed by Bryan Lee O’Malley & BenDavid Grabinski based on the graphic novels by O’Malley and stars Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Brie Larson, Satya Bhabha, Chris Evans, Brandon Routh, Aubrey Plaza, Alison Pill and Ellen Wong. The series is now available to stream on Netflix.
