Clint Mansell (Black Swan, Noah, Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, Rebecca, Moon, Stoker) has recently been scoring the upcoming thriller Love Lies Bleeding. The film is directed by Rose Glass (Saint Maud) and stars Kristen Stewart, Katy O’Brian, Jena Malone, Dave Franco, Anna Baryshnikov and Ed Harris. The movie follows a reclusive gym manager who falls hard for an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Vegas in pursuit of her dream, when they are pulled into a web of crime. Glass also co-wrote the screenplay with Weronika Tofilska. Andrea Cornwell (Suite Francaise, The Last Days on Mars) and Oliver Kassman (Out of Darkness) are producing the project. Love Lies Bleeding will premiere next month at the Sundance Film Festival and is expected to be released in theaters later in 2024 by A24.
Mansell is also expected to return to co-score the second season of James Gunn’s Max original series Peacemaker.
