Premiering on Wednesday, October 11, is the Netflix documentary series Big Vape: The Rise and Fall of Juul executive produced and directed by R.J. Cutler about the controversial electronic cigarette company Juul. The show’s original music is composed by Craig DeLeon (The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, Fatal Attraction, Velma, Strange Darling, End of the Road, Music). Premiering on Thursday, October 12, is the Netflix limited series The Fall of the House of Usher created by Mike Flanagan and starring Carla Gugino, Bruce Greenwood, Mary McDonnell, Carl Lumbly, Henry Thomas and Mark Hamill. The Newton Brothers (Doctor Sleep, The Haunting of Hill House, The Forever Purge, Midnight Mass, Oculus) have composed the show’s original music. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score this past Friday. Also premiering on Thursday is Paramount+’s Frasier revival developed by Chris Harris & and Joe Cristalli based on the hit 90s sitcom and starring Kelsey Grammer, Jack Cutmore-Scott, Nicholas Lyndhurst, Jess Salgueiro, Toks Olagundoye and Anders Keith. The show’s music is composed by Bruce Miller (who co-wrote the theme for the original series) and Jason Miller. The comedy, which follows Frasier Crane in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.
Premiering on Friday, October 13, is the Apple TV+ limited series Lessons in Chemistry developed by Lee Eisenberg based on Bonnie Garmus’ novel of the same title and starring Brie Larson, Lewis Pullman, Stephanie Koenig, Aja Naomi King, Kevin Sussman, Patrick Walker and Thomas Mann. Carlos Rafael Rivera (The Queen’s Gambit, Hacks, Godless, Chupa, Just Beyond) has composed the show’s original music. Also premiering on Friday is the Swedish Netflix original film The Conference (Konferensen) co-written and directed by Patrik Eklund and starring Katia Winter, Adam Lundgren, Eva Melander, Amed Bozan, Bahar Pars and Maria Sid. The movie’s original music is composed by Andreas Tengblad (Knutby, Second Act, Sune vs. Sune). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be announced soon. The horror comedy, which follows a group of public sector employees as they battle a bloodthirsty killer, will be available to stream on Netflix.
