Rolfe Kent (Sideways, Wedding Crashers, About Schmidt, Up in the Air, Election, Mean Girls, Freaky Friday) has provided the original score for the upcoming British drama North Star. The film marks the directorial debut of actress Kristin Scott Thomas and stars Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller, Emily Beecham, Scott Thomas herself and Freida Pinto. The movie revolves around three sisters who are hung up on the men in their lives, as their mother prepares for her third wedding. Scott Thomas also co-wrote the screenplay with John Micklethwait. Finola Dwyer (Brooklyn, An Education) and Steven Rales (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom) are producing the project. North Star is premiering this week at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.
