MNRK Music Group will release a soundtrack album for the biographical drama Golda. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dascha Dauenhauer (Berlin Alexanderplatz, The Swarm, Blood Red Sky, Bliss, Souls). Also included is Elias Abid’s & Ysa’s cover of Leonard Cohen’s Who by Fire. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 25 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Golda is directed by Guy Nattiv and stars Helen Mirren, Liev Schreiber, Camille Cottin, Rami Heuberger, Ellie Piercy, Lior Ashkenazi, Rotem Keinan and Ed Stoppard. The movie tells the story of Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir whose tough leadership and compassion would ultimately decide the fate of her nation. The drama premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Bleecker Street.
