Adam Janota Bzowski (Saint Maud, Black Mirror: Loch Henry, Here Before, The Origin) has provided the original score for the upcoming thriller The Marsh King’s Daughter. The film is directed by Neil Burger (Limitless, The Illusionist) and stars Daisy Ridley, Ben Mendelsohn, Garrett Hedlund, Brooklynn Prince, Caren Pistorius and Gil Birmingham. The movie revolves around a woman with a secret past as she ventures into the wilderness she left behind to confront the most dangerous man she’s ever met: her father. Elle Smith and Mark L. Smith (The Revenant, Overlord) wrote the screenplay based on the bestselling novel by Karen Dionne. Black Bear Pictures’ Teddy Schwarzman (All Is Lost, The Imitation Game) is producing the project with Anonymous Content’s Keith Redmon (The Revenant, The Midnight Sky), as well as Mark L. Smith. The Marsh King’s Daughter will be released in theaters nationwide on October 6, 2023 by Lionsgate & Roadside Attractions.
