Ebony and Ivory has released a soundtrack album for the Puerto Rican/Spanish drama The Fishbowl (La Pecera). The album features the film’s original music composed by Sergio de la Puente (The Awakening of the Ants, Sin fin, Oh! Mammy Blue, The Night of the Two Moons). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The Fishbowl is directed by Glorimar Marrero Sánchez and stars Isel Rodríguez, Modesto Lacén, Maximiliano Rivas and Magali Carrasquillo. The movie follows a 40-year-old visual artist who is seeing cancer returning after years of remission as she decides to return to her native Puerto Rican Island to claim her freedom and decide her own fate. The drama premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in Spanish theaters this coming Friday, May 26. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
