Sky Music will release a soundtrack album for the Sky original comedy Dreamland. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Arthur Sharpe (The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, Landscapers, Guilt, Flowers) and Giuseppe Alfano (The Disappearance of April Jones). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 6 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Dreamland is written by Emma Jane Unsworth, Gabby Best, Sharma Walfall & Sarah Kendall based on Sky’s 2018 BAFTA-winning Sharon Horgan-scripted short of the same name and stars Freema Agyeman, Lily Allen, Kiell Smith- Bynoe, Best herself, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Frances Barber and Sheila Reid. The series is set in the sun-drenched British seaside town of Margate and is being described as a “dark comedic exploration of multi-generational female relationships, and their family dynamics.” The comedy will premiere in the UK tomorrow on Sky Atlantic and the streaming service NOW.
