ABBOTT (aka Thomas Muis) has released a soundtrack album for the French historical drama The Heroes of the Louvre (Les héros du Louvre). The album features the composer’s original music from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. The Heroes of the Louvre is directed by Elie Chouraqui and stars Kad Merad, Marie Gillain, Julia de Nunez, Fantine Guyot, Jean-Hugues Anglade amd Bernard Le Coq. The movie tells the true story of a Jewish night watchman who risks his life to embark on a journey across occupied France to evacuate and save the Louvre’s masterpiece collections from the impending Nazi invasion. The drama just opened in French theaters yesterday. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
