Colin Stetson (Hereditary, The Menu, The Whisper Man, Color Out of Space, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Uzumaki, Hold Your Breath) has recently composed the music for the upcoming Greek coming-of-age drama A Day in the Life of Jo: Chapter Phaedra (Mia mera sti zoi tis tzo: kefalaio Faidra).The film is written and directed by Jacqueline Lentzou (Moon, 66 Questions) and stars Evita Andriopoulou, Eleni Vergeti, Anastasia Gouliamou and Ektoras Lygizos .The movie follows a 15-year old teenager as she goes about an ostensibly ordinary day – missing the school bus, hanging out with her friends and rebelling against her mother – unaware that it is the last day of her life. Annabelle Aronis, Ioanna Bolomyti (Luna Park, Behind the Haystacks), Andrea Queralt (Sirat, Foremost by Night), Steffen Goldkamp, Arda Çiltepe (Atlet, Pillar of Salt) and Elli Papadiamanti are producing the Avion Films. Atalante, Kelek Film & 4A4 production. A Day in the Life of Jo: Chapter Phaedra will premiere this week at the 2026 Venice Film Festival.
Stetson’s other feature projects include Jonathan Goldstein’s & John Francis Daley’s Mayday, which just premiered last Friday on Apple TV, as well as James Ashcroft’s The Whisper Man, which premiered a week earlier on Netflix.
