The details of the score album for David Lowery’s psychological drama Mother Mary have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Daniel Hart (The Green Knight, Pete’s Dragon, Interview with the Vampire, The Old Man & the Gun, A Ghost Story, Peter Pan & Wendy, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 17 by A24 Music. As previously reported, the label is also releasing a separate album featuring the movie’s original songs written by Jack Antonoff, Charli xcx & FKA twigs and performed by lead actress Anne Hathaway on the same day. A double vinyl edition featuring both the score and songs is now available to order on A24’s online store. Mother Mary is written and directed by Lowery and also stars Michaela Coel, Hunter Schafer, Atheena Frizzell, Kaia Gerber, Alba Baptista, Jessica Brown Findlay, Sian Clifford and Isaura Barbé-Brown. The drama will be released in select theaters on April 17 before expanding nationwide on April 24.
