Hammer Films & Silva Screen Records have announced a new soundtrack for the 1957 British cult horror classic The Curse of Frankenstein directed by Terence Fisher and starring Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Hazel Court and Robert Urquhart. The release marks the first title in a new series of Hammer soundtracks remastered and presented in deluxe packaging and features restored cues from the film composed James Bernard (DraculaTaste the Blood of Dracula, The Gorgon, Windom’s Way) that have been curated into four suites. The soundtrack is being released on green vinyl across two 45rpm 7″ EPs and will be released this Friday, March 27 (visit Amazon to pre-order). The limited edition was created during Hammer’s 2025 4K restoration of the film, which was released last fall on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray. The Curse of Frankenstein is also available on VOD.
