Tiger Studios has released a soundtrack album for the Finnish/Icelandic TV series Hildur. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Sveinn Geirsson (Descendants). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to an extended version of the composer’s opening theme after the jump. Hildur is developed by Matti Laine based on the bestselling novel series by Satu Rämö and stars Ebba Katrín Finnsdóttir, Lauri Tilkanen, Rick Okon, Nína Dögg Filipusardóttir, Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir, Oddur Julíusson and Oona Airola. The 6-part crime drama directed by Tinna Hrafnsdóttir follows a police officer traumatized by the unsolved disappearance of her two sisters 25 years ago who returns to her her hometown in Iceland, where she gets drawn into a baffling murder investigation. The series premiered in Finland and Iceland this past January. No word yet on a domestic release.
