Sony Masterworks has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature The Land of Sometimes. The album features the film’s original score composed by Terry Davies (Play Without Words, Tiddler, The Scarecrows’ Wedding, Revolting Rhymes, The Car Man). Also included are the movie’s original songs track by Academy Award winner Tim Rice (The Lion King, Aladdin, Evita) & Pete Hobbs and performed by the project’s voice cast, including the title track, which has previously been released as a digital single earlier this month. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to a score track and several of the songs after the jump. The Land of Sometimes is directed by Leon Joosen and stars Ewan McGregor, Helena Bonham Carter,Alisha Weir, Andrei Shen, Mel Brooks, Terry Jones, Asa Butterfield and Jessica Henwick. The movie tells the story of two twins who get more than they bargained for after summoning the mysterious Wish Collector, an enigmatic character who whisks them away to a place where all four seasons pass in just one day and are granted with a total of six wishes. The animated feature is being released in select theaters today and will be released on Digital on April 7 and few weeks later on DVD by Shout! Studios.
