The full details of the soundtrack album for the gothic romance The Bride! have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Hildur Guðnadóttir (Joker, Chernobyl, Women Talking, Tar, A Haunting in Venice, Hedda, Sicario: Day of the Soldado). Also included are three original songs by Fever Ray (two of which have already been released on a digital EP last week), lead actress Jessie Buckley’s rendition of Falling in Love Again (Can’t Help It), as well as several songs performed by actor Jake Gyllenhaal feat. Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks (produced by Stewart Lerman). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 6 by WaterTower Music. Click here to check out the project’s music team credits. The Bride! is written and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal and also stars Christian Bale, Annette Bening, Peter Sarsgaard and Penélope Cruz. The movie follows a lonely Frankenstein who travels to 1930s Chicago to ask a groundbreaking scientist to create a companion for him and revive a murdered young woman. The film is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Warner Bros. Pictures.
