The full details of the soundtrack album for Pixar Animation Studios’ feature Hoppers have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, A Minecraft Movie, The Royal Tenenbaums, The LEGO Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21/22 Jump Street, The Croods: A New Age) . Also included is the original song Save the Day co-written and performed by SZA (previously released as a digital single). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, March 6 by Walt Disney Records. Hoppers is directed by Daniel Chong and featres the voice talent of Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Meryl Streep, Dave Franco, Kathy Najimy, Eduardo Franco, Vanessa Bayer, Ego Nwodim, Melissa Villaseñor, Sam Richardson, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Nichole Sakura, Aparna Nancherla, Steve Purcell, Karen Huie and Tom Law. The movie follows an animal lover who seizes an opportunity to use a new technology to ‘hop’ her consciousness into a life-like robotic beaver and communicate directly with animal.. The animated comedy will be released in theaters nationwide this coming weekend by Walt Disney Pictures.
