Nicola Piovani (Life Is Beautiful, The Best Years,Pinocchio,Hungry Hearts, The Tiger and the Snow, The Traitor) has released a soundtrack album for the Italian documentary Brunello, the Gracious Visionary (Brunello, il visionario garbato). The album features the Academy Award-winning composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon (or any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Brunello, the Gracious Visionary is directed by Giuseppe Tornatore and centers on fashion designer Brunello Cucinelli (known as Italy’s “King of Cashmere”). The movie chronicles his rise from being a farmer’s son to becoming executive chairman of a global luxury lifestyle brand with a market capitalization of more than $1.5 billion. The documentary was released in Italian theaters last December and has recently been picked up by Blue Fox Entertainment for a domestic release later this year.
