Netflix announced today that Hans Zimmer (The Lion King Inception, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dune, Man of Steel, Rain Man) & his Bleeding Fingers Music collective have been hired to compose the music for the upcoming Netflix original series All the Sinners Bleed. The show is developed by Joe Robert Cole (All Day and a Night, Black Panther) based on S.A Crosby novel of the same title and stars Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, John Douglas Thompson, Nicole Beharie, Andrea Cortés, Daniel Ezra, Murray Bartlett and Leila George. The thriller follows first Black Sheriff in a small Bible Belt county haunted by his devout mother’s untimely death who must lead the hunt for a serial killer that has been preying on his Black community for years in the name of God. Cole is also directing the first and several other episodes and is executive producing the Higher Ground production with Crosby, as well as Amblin Television’s Darryl Frank & Justin Falvey (The Americans, The Haunting of Hill House). All the Sinners Bleed is currently in production in Atlanta, Georgia
As previously reported, Zimmer & Bleeding Fingers are also set to score HBO’s Harry Potter TV series.
