Ludwig Göransson has won the Grammy Award for his score from Ryan Coogler’s Sinners in the Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media category at today’s 68th Annual Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony in Los Angeles. He was previously honored with a Grammy in the same category for his music for Coogler’s Black Panther and Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and also received two awards for Childish Gambino’s This Is America. Sinners was also the winner in the Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Visual Media category.
EJAE, Mark Sonnenblick, Park Hong Jun, Joong Gyu Kwak, Yu Han Lee, Hee Dong Nam & Jeong Hoon Seo received the award for the original song Golden from Sony Pictures Animation’s Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters in the Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media category. In the Best Music Film category, Laurent Bouzereau (director), Sara Bernstein, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Meredith Kaulfers, Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, Steven Spielberg & Justin Wilkes (producers) were honored for the Disney+ documentary Music by John Williams. Austin Wintory was the winner in the Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media category for the title Sword of the Sea.
