Gary Lionelli (O.J.: Made in America, Luck, Downfall: The Case Against Boeing, Chasing the Moon, The Newspaperman, Nuclear Family) has recently scored the upcoming crime thriller The Only Living Pickpocket in New York.The film is written and directed by Noah Segan (Blood Relatives) and stars John Turturro, Giancarlo Esposito, Tatiana Maslany, Will Price and Steve Buscemi. The movie revolves around a veteran pickpocket who is sent on a mission through New York to reclaim the stolen goods after a theft goes awry. Katie McNeill (Holler, Wildflower), Leopold Hughes (Fair Play, All the Devils Are Here), Ben LeClair (American Fiction, The Lovers) are producing the project. Rian Johnson (Knives Out, Brick) is among the executive producers of the T-Street production. The Only Living Pickpocket in New York is premiering today at the 2026 Sundance Festival.
