Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe (Candyman, Telemarketers, Master, Power, Union, The Man in the Basement, Grasshopper Republic) has recently composed the music for the upcoming horror feature Rock Springs. The film is written and directed by Vera Miao and stars Kelly Marie Tran, Benedict Wong, Jimmy O. Yang, Fiona Fu and Aria Kim. The movie tells the story of a grieving young girl who moves to an isolated house with her mother and grandmother after the death of her father, only to discover there is something monstrous hidden in the town’s history and the woods behind their new home. Stephen Feder (Sex Ed), Kiri Hart (The Creator), Poppy Hanks (One of the Them Days, Blue Bayou), Greta Talia Fuentes (Eternal Return), Jason Michael Berman (Air, Highest 2 Lowest) and Jordan Moldo (Vegas: A Love Story) are producing the project. Rock Springs is premiering this Sunday at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
Lowe’s other recent feature scoring projects include Brittany Shyne’s Oscar-shortlisted documentary Seeds, which has just been released in select theaters last weekend.
