Anne Dudley (American History X, The Crying Game, The Full Monty, Poldark, Benedetta, The Hustle, Black Box, Pushing Tin) has composed the original music for the upcoming British/Australian family fantasy adventure Fing!. The film is directed by Jeffrey Walker (Ali’s Wedding, The Portable Door) and stars. Taika Waititi, Mia Wasikowska, Penelope Wilton, Iona Bell and Blake Harrison. The movie is based on the children’s book of the same title by David Walliams (Little Britain) and tells the story of a demanding little girl and her parents as they battle an outrageously entitled viscount to protect their rare, furry, one-eyed Fing from those fixated on exploiting the wondrous creature. Walliams also co-wrote the screenplay with Kevin Cecil (Gnomeo & Juliet). Jo Sargent (Sick Note, Miranda) and Todd Fellman (Jungle, Bait) are producing the project. Fing! will premiere this weekend at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
Dudley’s other recent projects include the TV series The Forsytes, which premiered in the UK last fall on Channel 5 and will make its U.S. debut on March 22 PBS as part of the Masterpiece series.
