Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack EP for the French drama The Book of Joy (Selon Joy). The 5-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Rémi Boubal (Plan 75, Teach Me If You Can, Renoir, Black Tide, Our Mothers Bigger Than Us . The Book of Joy is co-written and directed by Camille Lugan and stars Sonia Bonny, Volodymyr Zhdanov, Raphaël Thiéry and Asia Argento. The movie follows an orphan who  almost never leaves her church until she meets a young man who gets beaten up in front of her and becomes convinced their paths were meant to cross. The drama premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival and will be released in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic release.
