Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the comedy drama Is This Thing On?. The album features the film’s original music composed by James Newberry (Barron’s Cove, Natchez, Wolfgang, The Lady and the Dale, Enigma). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Alex and Tess) after the jump. Is This Thing On? is co-written and directed by Bradley Cooper and stars Will Arnett, Laura Dern, Andra Day, Cooper himself, Amy Sedaris, Christine Ebersole, Sean Hayes, Ciarán Hinds and Scott Icenogle. The movie follows a man who faces middle age and an impending divorce as he is seeking new purpose in the New York comedy scene while his wife confronts the sacrifices she made for their family.. The dramedy premiered at this year’s New York Film Festival and is being released in select theaters this weekend by Searchlight Pictures.
