The details of the second soundtrack album for the Disney+ original series Percy Jackson and the Olympians have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season, featuring themes written by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Outlander, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Walking Dead, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Battlestar Galactica) and original score composed by Sparks & Shadows (Foundation, Imaginary, The Serpent Queen, Halo). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 19 by Hollywood Records. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. The label has previously released an album featuring music from Season 1 back in 2023. Percy Jackson and the Olympians is created by Rick Riordan (based on his book series of the same title) & Jonathan E. Steinberg and stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Daniel Diemer and Dior Goodjohn. The second season, which is based on Riordan’s second book The Sea of Monsters and follows the young demigods as they embark on a perilous quest to save Camp Half-Blood and their friend Grover, premiered last week with new episodes dropping every Wednesday on Disney+ and Hulu. .
