CAM Sugar has released a soundtrack album for the Italian drama Primavera. The album features the film’s original score composed by Fabio Massimo Capogrosso (Kidnapped: The Abduction of Edgardo MortaraExterior Night, The Flood, The Time It Takes), as well as music by Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to a track from Capogrosso’s score after the jump. Primavera is co-written and directed by Damiano Michieletto and stars Tecla Insolia, Michele Riondino, Andrea Pennacchi, Fabrizia Sacchi, Valentina Bellé and Stefano Accorsi. The movie takes place in early 18th century Venice, Italy and centers on a virtuoso violinist whose fate is transferred when her orphanage hires an ambitious composer as the new musical instructor: Antonio Vivaldi. The drama premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and will be released in Italian theaters on December 25. No word yet on a domestic release.
