Hollywood Records will release the official soundtrack album for the comedy Ella McCay. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Dune, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, As Good As It Gets, Inception, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Man of Steel, Rain Man). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 12 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Brooks and stars Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kumail Nanjiani, Ayo Edebiri, Jack Lowden, Rebecca Hall, Albert Brooks, Julie Kavner, Spike Fearn, Joey Brooks, Becky Ann Baker, and Woody Harrelson. The movie follows an ambitious and idelistic young politician who struggles to balance family and work as she prepares to take over for her longtime mentor, the state’s longtime incumbent governor. The comedy will be released in theaters nationwide on December 12 by 20th Century Studios.
