Hollywood Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Disney+ original series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season, including themes written by Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Outlander, 10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica) and original score composed by Sparks & Shadows (Foundation, Imaginary, Halo). Percy Jackson and the Olympians is created by Rick Riordan & Jonathan E. Steinberg and stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Dior Goodjohn, Charlie Bushnell and Daniel Diemer. Season 2 is based on The Sea of Monsters, the second book in Riordan’s best-selling series and follows the young demigods as they embark on a perilous quest to save Camp Half-Blood and their friend Grover. The new season of the series will premiere this Wednesday, December 10 on Disney+ and Hulu.
