Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1985 fantasy adventure Santa Claus: The Movie directed by Jeannot Szwarc and starring Dudley Moore, John Lithgow, David Huddleston, Burgess Meredith and Judy Cornwell. The album features the newly remastered original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Henry Mancini (Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The Pink PantherCharade, The Thorn Birds), as well as the movie’s original songs written by Mancini and featuring lyrics by Leslie Bricusse. The 40th Anniversary Remastered Edition is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list, listen to audio samples and find out more about the 2-CD set. The label has previously released an expanded edition of the title back in 2012 and a reissue in 2019. Santa Claus: The Movie is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
