Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series The Abandons. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Jeff Danna (The Good Dinosaur, The Hunting Wives, Alias Grace, The Addams Family, Onward, The Boondock Saints, Camelot, Storks, Julia, Silent Hill). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 4 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Abandons is created by Kurt Sutter and stars Lena Headey, Gillian Anderson, Nick Robinson, Diana Silvers, Aisling Franciosi, Natalia Del Riego, Lamar Johnson and Lucas Till. The western drama is set in 1850s Washington and follows two families led by powerful matriarchs – one wealthy, one poor but deeply loyal – as they battle for supremacy on the unforgiving frontier. The series will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Netflix.
